Functionally Integrated Nanocrystal Arrays for Nano/Micro LEDs and Electronic Devices

 Functionally integrated nanocrystal arrays are a key technology for enhancing the performance of nano/micro LEDs and electronic devices. By utilizing selective nano/microcrystal epitaxial growth processes, precise arrangement and structural control can be achieved. Optimization of the polarization properties of these nano/microcrystals enables the development of high-efficiency LEDs with improved optical performance and energy efficiency.

 Additionally, nano/micro LED-based flexible display technology overcomes the limitations of conventional flat displays, enabling foldable and bendable next-generation displays. This advancement is expected to contribute to various applications, including wearable devices, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) displays.
The primary research topics in this field include
  1. Selective nano/microcrystal epitaxial growth via low-temperature solution processes.
  2.  Development of high-efficiency LEDs through polarization control of nano/microcrystals.
